We are an integrated manufacturer and exporter, combining production, quality control, and engineering support. Electric Hospital Bed Factory in China. Our facility is organized by workflow, covering welding, surface treatment, assembly, packing, finished goods warehousing, and container loading. With coordinated teams in production, QC, engineering, and after-sales, we ensure consistent quality, stable delivery, and export-ready support for global customers.
Jiangsu Youngcoln Medical Co., Ltd. has been engaged in the medical industry since 2008 and manufactures electric hospital beds for hospitals, distributors and project contractors. The Electric Hospital Bed Manufacturers category at Youngcoln covers 22 models for intensive care, general ward, step-down and home care use. We produce in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu Province, China, and support each order with configuration control, compliance documentation and export packing.
Electric beds sit within our wider Hospital Bed programme, alongside intensive care, manual and home care models. As a manufacturer, we focus on stable structure, repeatable assembly and clear model configuration so that a ward replacement, new department or distributor programme can be supplied against a defined specification.
Our electric beds are built around the daily work of nurses and caregivers: positioning, transfer, cleaning and patient observation. The range spans three-function ward beds, five-function acute care beds and ICU models with controls integrated into the side rails.
Where a project does not require electric actuation, our Manual Hospital Bed range provides a crank-operated alternative within the same hospital bed family.
The table below groups the current electric bed models by care setting and control arrangement. Final function sets, rail types, casters and accessories are confirmed against the project schedule.
| Range | Models | Positioning | Control arrangement | Typical setting |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| YC-E5638K series | YC-E5638K(I), YC-E5638K(II) | ICU and high-acuity care | Railing-integrated control | Intensive care, close observation, frequent positioning |
| YC-E5618K series | YC-E5618K(I), YC-E5618K(III), YC-E5618K(IV) | ICU and patient care | Remote control and integrated control options | Five-function acute care, high-safety ward use |
| YC-E5611 series | YC-E5611K, YC-E5611L | General ward and mobilisation | Hand control, five-function operation | Central-locking steer function, daily ward transfers |
| YC-E3618K series | YC-E3618K(I), YC-E3618K(II), YC-E3618K(V), YC-E3618K(IV) | General ward and home care | Full electric and remote-control options | Hi-low positioning, ABS side rails, home-use configuration |
| YC-E3618L series | YC-E3618L(I) | Ward and care settings | Remote control | Electric adjustable bed for routine patient care |
ICU beds need controls where the nurse is working, not only on a handset. Our YC-E5638K models place the control interface in the railing, while the YC-E5618K series adds five-function electric positioning and remote-control options. These beds are matched with Intensive Care Beds in our wider range when a project requires a mixed ICU and step-down layout.
Three-function electric beds are the working base for general wards: electric backrest and knee-rest adjustment, height control for safe patient transfer, and ABS side rails for fall protection. Central-locking casters on the YC-E5611K support movement within the ward and lock the bed in place for care.
Electric adjustable beds for home use need simple controls, stable frames and a configuration that fits domestic room dimensions. The YC-E3618K(IV) and YC-E3618L(I) models are positioned for these settings, with remote-control operation and a finish that is straightforward to clean.
For distributors, the range can be supplied as a mixed-model programme rather than a single bed type. We align model mix, accessory sets, labels and packaging with the destination market and the project room schedule.
Electric hospital beds are specified by function and by the way the bed is used, not by a single headline number. The following points are fixed during order review so that the delivered bed matches the ward layout and care model.
Our R&D team includes structural designers, process engineers and product developers, with electrical engineering support for the electric bed lines. We invest approximately 10% of annual turnover in new product development and product improvement, and we refine beds around durability, maintenance access and day-to-day use by caregivers.
Configuration is handled as a controlled model build. We confirm the base model, function set, control location, rail type, caster arrangement, accessory list, label set and packaging before production. For OEM programmes, we support branding-ready packaging and model documentation so that the delivered batch can be received into the distributor catalogue without rework.
Production takes place in our 7,500 m² facility in Zhangjiagang, with a Japanese semi-automatic welding arm, automated assembly and packing lines, and a hospital bed capacity of more than 20,000 units per year. The plant is organised by workflow: pipe punching, welding, surface treatment, assembly, inspection, packing, safety stock and container loading.
Quality control follows five stages: supplier audit, incoming inspection of frame parts, casters and side rails, in-process inspection of welding and assembly, final inspection of appearance and key functions, and outgoing checks on model, quantity, accessories and packaging labels. Our quality system is supported by ISO9001, ISO13485 and CE certification, and we hold the Medical Device Manufacturing Enterprise License.
Electric beds are delivered with the configuration and accessory set defined in the order. For project supply, we coordinate packing, labelling and container loading, and provide the documentation needed for receiving inspection and ward handover.
Serviceable components include casters, hand controls, side rails, motors and frame parts. We support spare-parts planning with the model list and component references used in the order, so that maintenance teams can replace wear items without matching parts by appearance alone.
A workable electric bed proposal starts with the care setting and the way the bed will be used. We ask for the following project inputs:
We manufacture 22 electric hospital bed models across the YC-E5638K, YC-E5618K, YC-E5611, YC-E3618K and YC-E3618L series. The range covers ICU beds with railing-integrated controls, five-function acute care beds, three-function ward beds and electric adjustable beds for home care.
Yes. The YC-E5638K(I) and YC-E5638K(II) models are ICU beds with railing-integrated controls. We confirm the control layout, rail type and function set against the ICU room plan and the nursing workflow before production.
Three-function beds provide electric backrest, knee-rest and height adjustment for general ward and home care use. Five-function beds add further positioning functions for higher-acuity care, with remote-control or integrated-control options depending on the model.
We support OEM configurations with model labelling, accessory kits, branding-ready packaging and order-specific documentation. The base model and function set remain controlled, while labels, packaging and accessory content are aligned to the distributor market.
Order documentation covers the confirmed model configuration, quantity, accessory list and packing details. Compliance documents relevant to the destination market, including CE and ISO certification evidence, are prepared with the order so that receiving and hospital acceptance can be completed against the shipped batch.
