You may benefit from listing writing or sharing the things that you are excited about once leaving ICU. You can also start setting small goals that are attainable for you. So for example, you might want to go out in the hospital hallway and walk a little bit or work on trying to finish this puzzle. These little wins will help lift your spirits.
